To register for the up coming year: Three year old programming: Students must be three by December 31st, however may not attend programming until after their third birthday. Only three spots will be held for children who are not three by September 30th, but turn three by December 31st. Parents are responsible for paying programming fee for held spots. Three/Four split class: Students must be three by September 1st or four by December 31st. Four year old programming: Students must be four by December 31st. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis. We will try our best to accommodate your preference.

ADDITIONAL FUNDING
PUF Programming
The Carstairs Playschool Society has secured PUF support through Foothills Creative Beginnings. This funding is used to provide extra support for those children who may need assistance in speech, occupational therapy or children with a diagnosis that requires them to have an Educational Assistant. Due to funding cut off date of September 30th, prior notice of potential PUF students is beneficial. Please let us know of any speech, OT, or developmental concerns you may have.
Child Care Subsidy

Effective January 2022, families with a household annual income of less than $180, 000, can apply for Child Care Subsidy of $125.00 per month. Please indicate if you are going to apply for the Child Care Subsidy.

WAIVERS
Please review the following waivers carefully.
In order to withdraw from the program, thirty days written notice must be provided. Tuition will be refunded for months following the thirty day period. If there are unforeseen circumstances surrounding the departure, it will be the Board’s discretion on the amount of tuition refunded.

I hereby waive and release all rights and claims for damages that I may have against the Carstairs Playschool Society for any injuries sustained by my child at any time or activity under the jurisdiction of the above stated society. I also give the Carstairs Playschool personnel permission to perform first aid treatment or call 9-1-1 if necessary.

Throughout the year, Carstairs Playschool students participate in off premise activities, which could include, but not limited to, short walks, playing at nearby parks in town, or exploring our neighborhood. All locations are within walking distance and children are never transported in motor vehicles. Your authorization is required for your child to attend these activities in the 2024-2025 school year.
